Wow! This is the best bar for breakfast I have ever had!
I wanted to like this flavor more. The texture and taste is not as good as the white chocolate macadamia or chocolate chip cookie dough flavors. It is slightly gritty and hard and though I love cinnamon, it does not have a good cinnamon flavor.
Tried this for the first time and I am sold on them. Don't have to feel bad about eating them because they are healthy for you.
Absolutely love these... the taste is amazing, great texture yet so healthy! Love the ingredients & helps me stay full and fit!
These bars were a staple in my daily diet for two years, but then something changed a few months ago, which turned out to be a forced recipe change. I find the taste and texture intolerable now. In the past, at their best, they tasted almost like cookie dough, but even the less-good batches previously (because every batch was a bit different) were many times better than the current recipe. To be as fair as possible, I should say that I am not a big fan of protein bars, anyway, so I was barely tolerating them to begin with (although I became accustomed to them over time and actually enjoyed the really good batches). So, it's not surprising that any negative change would render them intolerable for me. HOWEVER, the customer service rep. whom I spoke to last week assured me that they're working on getting the recipe back to its original state of goodness as they've had to deal with a change in the tapioca fiber they'd been using. So I wouldn't be surprised if the bars are tasty again very soon. In the meantime, I'll be trying and hopefully loving the new snickerdoodle bars. :-) I'm not giving up on Bhu bars!
