Yes, our products do contain peanuts, almonds and cashews. We take food safety very seriously here at BHU and take precautions to avoid cross-contamination because we understand our customers may have food allergies, dietary restrictions, or intolerances. Our products are manufactured in a facility that does also use tree nuts, milk, soy, egg and wheat.

Our BHU bars are cashew-based for a creamier texture, but need to be stored in the fridge or freezer before eating to ensure they are as fresh and healthy as possible while keeping their mouthwatering taste. 

On the go? BHU snack bars are safe for snacking for up to one week outside of the fridge when stored at room temperature. Don’t leave it in the heat, chocolate melts!

They're good for up to 7 days without refrigeration. Just put them in the fridge as soon as you can, and store them there until you're ready to enjoy. Take them on the go to the gym, office, traveling or wherever you may need a better snack! For soft, chewy, cookie dough–like consistency remove your bar from the fridge for about 5-10 mins before snacking.

What you may notice is a change in texture. Over time, natural oils can separate (similar to organic peanut butter), which can cause the bar to become greasy. It’s all the good stuff—oils from cashews, peanuts, and coconut.

Antioxidants aren't just good for you; they help preserve food and maintain quality! At BHU, we use organic Tocobiol and Organic Olive Powder to support freshness and improve shelf stability.

Because we use real ingredients, natural color variation can happen from batch to batch (think cashews, peanuts, chocolate). Color variation does not affect quality, or taste!

No, BHU Foods does not ship outside the USA. Due to the nature of BHU products and the need to maintain proper temperature conditions to ensure the best quality, we are currently shipping only to the contiguous United States.

You will find our 'best by' date printed on each package, which is the most accurate reference, but our products so have a 365 day shelf life from date of production.
